At the beginning of every New Year, we see countless motivational quotes, inspirational videos and pictures throughout our social circle. In reality, those motivational posts which are designed to encourage you won’t really help you achieve your goals.
I’ve always disliked motivational quotes, memes and anything that promotes a false sense of motivation. Here is the biggest flaw: The effects of motivational posts are temporary. Inspirational quotes may spark a fire in you only for a short period of time. No matter how inspiring a quote sounds, it doesn’t have a lasting impression that can push you day in and day out.
As a result, motivational quotes can create a false sense of well-being. As they make you feel better for the time being, you might forget about the problem at hand rather than taking immediate action to fix it.
I’m not saying every motivational post that you see is bad. What I am really saying is: just watching a YouTube video or reading a motivational quote and naively believing that this will create enough motivation to help you through tough times in life is delusional.
You won’t always have that stupid motivational meme, YouTube video or quote to spark a fire under your ass when you are feeling overwhelmed with life’s challenges. You don’t need to rely on something that will just help you for 10-15 minutes. Reading a few motivational lines won’t change a thing. Taking action will.
You can be successful and achieve happiness, wealth, fame, respect, or whatever you desire only if you are willing to create a plan and work your ass off. Nobody becomes a billionaire or achieves their goals by just “believing” that it will happen. The universe does not create a perfect life for you; it is your job to do it. I understand that every now and then you might need a pick-me up, but in reality, it is up to you to make your life better. If you don’t make an effort, nothing will happen.
What you really need is something much better; something tangible. Name one person who went out and turned their life around after reading an inspirational post. That never happens! A motivational post will never help you in the same way a true friend will. This is because sometimes you need a kick in the ass and not some “feel good” quote that only makes you cheerful for the time being.
I know I might be being a little harsh here, but I’ve met so many people that “hope” and “believe” their life will be amazing without putting in the hard work. Hope and wishful thinking is not a strategy. If you want to live a good life, you have to get better. If you want to be successful, you have to put in the effort. If you want to be rich, you have to do something that people will want to pay a lot of money for. It’s as simple as that!
Motivational quotes don’t work because what we truly desire never comes immediately. It’s true that inspirational quotes sound good at first, but eventually, they fade. However, repetition and your subsequent growth from it will stay with you forever.
In addition, learning how to live with an alcoholic and deal with an alcoholic partner can be quite challenging. Living with someone who is in denial about their alcohol addiction can be stressful, overwhelming, and draining. If someone you care about is misusing alcohol, here’s what you can do to help them—and the rest of your family.
If you need motivational videos and quotes to inspire your work, then I’m sorry to say you’re in the wrong line of work. If what you do doesn’t inspire you enough, you owe it to yourself to find something that does.
Anyway, there are a few people who are addicted to phornography; if you want to understand more about it or get assistance, go to https://addictionrehabclinics.co.uk/porn-addiction/.
You hit the nail on the head with that last paragraph. I found your article more inspiring than most motivational quotes out there.
Although I don’t really hate motivational quotes, I get your point. They can only pump you up for a very short period of time. Rest is up to you.
